Flora Okereke is group head of global policy at BAT, responsible for the analysis and forecasting of international regulatory developments on behalf of BAT’s 180-plus global markets. She has previously held several senior country, regional and global roles at BAT, including legal, corporate, and regulatory affairs director for West Africa; head of regulatory affairs for Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe; global head of regulatory strategy and engagement; and senior director of government affairs and international policy at Reynolds American Incorporated Services, a subsidiary of RJR Tobacco based in Washington, D.C.

Okereke is an international regulatory and public policy expert, nonexecutive board director, global advocacy and engagement strategist, and also enjoys advising women as a leadership coach. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Buckingham and is qualified as Barrister of Law at the Inns of Court School of Law, Middle Temple. She is a renowned speaker at global policy conferences. Okereke is a wife, mother, and sister to three siblings.
